Japanese Online
This resource from Asia Education Foundation contains teaching and learning material for Japanese language students in years 5-8.

Chinese Resources
Four Chinese language learning sequences have been developed through the Australia–China BRIDGE school partnership project. They provide opportunities for students to collaborate to improve language skills and build intercultural understanding.

My Daily Routine: Years 3 / 4
Students explore the differences and similarities between the daily routines of students in China and those of students in Australia. Students explain their daily activities in Chinese and ask others about what time they do certain activities in their daily lives.

Shopping in China:  Years 5 / 6
Students explore what kinds of items are cheaper in China than they are in Australia, and why. Students communicate with a shop keeper in Chinese to purchase an item. They count different items, using appropriate 'measure words' and how to bargain the price down when shopping in a Chinese market.

My School Timetable:  Year 8
Students explore the differences and similarities between China and Australia in relation to school timetables, subject offerings and compulsory subjects. Students explain in Chinese which subjects they study and why. They describe the days and times that they study different subjects.

Travelling the Globe: Year 9
Students describe and respond to questions about their travel plans, including where, why, how, when, with whom, how long and how much it will cost. Students ask these questions to find out about the travel plans of their Chinese 'study buddy' and compare them with their own.
